- The computer support group at work are chucking-out a load
- of old stuff. Some of this stuff includes hundreds of data
- cartidges, and it seems a shame to bin them just because of
- an upgrade to DAT. Therefore, if anyone could tell me what
- I need to use these tapes and where I could get it, I would
- be most grateful. (And before anyone says 'tape streamer',
- I know THAT, but a model etc would be helpful ;)
-
- The cartridges use quarter-inch tape, and most are 600 foot
- long. There are a couple of different brands, with these
- numbers:
-
- Verbatim DL 600 #86341
- Verbatim DL 600ECT #86357
- Dysan 600 #81509
- Storage Master AC 6150 #M411643
-
- Any help would be cool. I'm after something with a SCSI
- interface, internal or external, for use with my Amiga.
-
- The streamer I have here on my Sparc 20 takes tapes which
- are almost exactly the same, but they aren't quite as
- 'long' (accross the front where the tape shows).
-
- Regards,
- Dominic
